Dr. Tina Hills, D.O.

A doctor we trust

Dr. Tina Hills, D.O.

Conventional training, root-cause care.

After years as a board-certified emergency physician, Dr. Hills now practices osteopathic, regenerative, and functional medicine. She understands the body down to the fascia, and she helps with injuries, recovery, and whole-body health, whether you're a professional athlete or simply want to feel and move better.

We refer our clients to Dr. Hills and her practice, PHMX, and now she sees clients right under our roof, a few days a week, by appointment.

Her background

  • Board-certified in emergency medicine (American Board of Emergency Medicine)
  • Emergency medicine residency at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Military veteran
  • Title-winning college powerlifter
  • Founder and Medical Director of PHMX

Emergency medicine taught Dr. Hills to read the whole body, fast. As PHMX puts it, “Emergency medicine trains a physician to work out what is actually happening under time pressure, with incomplete information, across every system at once.”

Then, in the words of her team page, “after witnessing the limits of symptom management, she rebuilt her practice around one principle: the body knows how to heal when given the right conditions.” Today she “combines regenerative medicine with osteopathic manipulation, fascia release, and nervous system work.”

We share a lot of common ground with her: root cause first, and a body designed to heal. And as a title-winning powerlifter in college, she knows firsthand what athletes ask of their bodies.
