For symptoms that started with mold or water damage
Mold Illness Care in Cypress, TX
Feeling worse at home or at work, or sick ever since a leak, a flood, or a move? Fatigue, brain fog, headaches, sinus trouble, and aches that no one can explain can come from mold. Dr. Tina Hills, D.O., a board-certified physician of integrative and cellular medicine, sees patients for mold-related illness and looks for the root cause instead of only medicating each symptom. Patients travel from around the world to see her, and she sees patients right here at MK Wellness a few days a week.

What mold illness is
Mold grows wherever there’s moisture: roof and plumbing leaks, floods, damp bathrooms, and air-conditioning systems, all common in humid Houston. Some molds make toxic compounds called mycotoxins. Integrative and environmental medicine doctors describe a chronic, whole-body illness in some people after time in water-damaged buildings, with fatigue, brain fog, headaches, sinus trouble, and aches that are hard to pin down.
The CDC notes that for some people, mold can cause a stuffy nose, sore throat, coughing or wheezing, burning eyes, or a skin rash, and that people with asthma or mold allergies may have severe reactions. The longer-lasting, whole-body illness is recognized less often in conventional medicine, so many people see several doctors before anyone asks about mold.

Is there a mold illness doctor near Cypress or Houston?
Yes. Dr. Tina Hills, D.O., sees patients at MK Wellness, 17844 Mound Road, Suite F, Cypress, TX 77433, a few days a week, by appointment. She is a board-certified physician of integrative and cellular medicine who sees patients for mold-related illness and looks for the root cause. Patients come from Cypress, Katy, Tomball, Jersey Village, Spring, The Woodlands, and across Greater Houston.
Do I need a mold test or a diagnosis first?
No. You can request a consultation without one. Bring what you have: any home inspection results, past labs, and a timeline of when your symptoms started.
Should I have my home inspected?
If you suspect mold, yes. Choose an independent inspector who doesn’t also sell remediation. Recovery works best once the moisture source is fixed and the mold is properly removed.
How much does it cost?
On PHMX’s menu, a Health Optimization Consultation is $350, the functional lab assessment is $715, and a Detox IV is $199. Confirm current pricing with PHMX when you book.
Can MK Wellness therapies help while I recover?
MK offers wellness sessions that many people pair with physician-led care, like the infrared sauna and HOCATT for a deep sweat and the lymphatic roller for lymph flow. Ask Dr. Hills what fits your plan.
